Orbitz Worldwide, Inc today announced that Hawaiian Airlines has entered into a multi-year partnership with Orbitz Worldwide Distribution, launching a private label solution to power both hotel and dynamic package bookings on the airline’s website, www.hawaiianairlines.com. Serving over 8 million passengers annually on 190 daily flights, Hawaiian Airlines is a leading provider of travel within the Hawaiian Islands and also nonstop flights between Hawaii and Asia, Australia and the western United States. The multi-year agreement enables Hawaiian Airlines to leverage Orbitz Worldwide’s proprietary technology, which extends exclusive vacation package and hotel deals to customers on the Hawaiian Airlines site.
Customers travelling between Hawaii and Asia, Australia or the United States also have access to deals at tens of thousands of hotels worldwide when they book through the Hawaiian Airlines site. Additionally, the Orbitz partnership enables Hawaiian to provide hotel suggestions for customers who initially use the site to book air travel only and will allow it to award HawaiianMiles for booking hotels and packages on the site in the future.
