Garuda Indonesia appoints Brunei sales team

Garuda Indonesia has appointed its first general sales agent in Brunei Darussalam, ADATC Sales.

Starting August 1st 2012, ADATC Sales will act as the Indonesian national airline’s local representative to manage its sales, marketing and reservation activities in Brunei.

“Brunei is an important market for Garuda as it shares many cultural similarities to Indonesia and we’re already seeing a steady flow of both leisure and business travellers from the country.

“With over three decades of experience, ADATC Sales is considered as a veteran in air travel, topping the industry as one of the best performing tour operators in Brunei and we’re confident this partnership will further strengthen our presence in the local market and help enhance the quality of our services to better serve passengers,” said Nicodemus Lampe, vice president, Area Asia, Garuda Indonesia.

Through this partnership, travellers going to Indonesia and beyond can now easily access over 30 Indonesian cities on Garuda Indonesia’s strong domestic network.

Among them are major cities and tourist spots such as Bali, Yogyakarta, Makassar, Surabaya and Lombok.

The airline also serves nearly 20 destinations throughout Asia and Europe including Singapore, Malaysia, Shanghai, Tokyo and Amsterdam.

“We very much look forward to this long-term partnership with Garuda Indonesia.

“The airline has made enormous progress over the last five years, and we are confident that the combination of our strong local knowledge and expertise with Garuda’s extensive network and service culture, we are able to penetrate the market even further,” said Anthony Lim, president, ADATC Sales.
