Curtain Bluff greets 50th season with a wave of change

Curtain Bluff’s 50th season comes with exciting news – a refreshed look resulting from resort-wide upgrades and renovations and the appointment of a new general manager to work alongside veteran Managing Director Rob Sherman.

Refreshed rooms
Curtain Bluff opened for the 2012 season with the complete renovation of the 18 deluxe beachfront rooms. With all new furniture, the style evokes a more contemporary Caribbean feel that compliments modern artwork in the rooms. Additional upgrades include new bedding in all deluxe rooms and 22 junior suites, the addition of chaise lounge cushions along the calm beach and new furniture in the library.

New general manager Christopher Eastmond
An already successful management team is strengthened this season with the addition of new general manager Christopher Eastmond. Eastmond will be working alongside Managing Director Rob Sherman, who has been at the helm of the resort for the past 24 years. A Caribbean hotel specialist with over 22 years of experience in the hospitality industry, Eastmond joins Curtain Bluff from the Veranda Resort & Residences in Turks & Caicos. He was also part of the opening team at Sandy Lane in Barbados, and held positions in Antigua at Carlisle Bay, Cobbler’s Cove and Hodges Bay Club.

The perfect stay for a spring getaway
Families looking to getaway this spring and summer can take advantage of the incredible allinclusive value with reduced room rates up to 35% May 15 – July 28, 2012. This fully-inclusive rate is truly one of the best values in the region, with all meals and beverages included as well as a long list of activities from scuba diving, sailing, snorkeling and water skiing to deep-sea fishing, tennis, yoga and kayaking. This formula has proved so successful the resort enjoys one of the highest return-guest rates in the Caribbean.

Honeymoon in style and save
Newlyweds can take advantage of the resort’s honeymoon package from April 15 – July 28, 2012. The four night package includes a round-trip town car pick up, bottle of champagne upon arrival, private dinner in a romantic garden gazebo, couples de-stressor massage, and sunset sail on 49-foot sailboat. American Airlines recently launched direct flights four times a week out of JFK into Antigua – ideal for leisure travelers.
