Le Meridien Dedicated Aircrew Hotel

New contemporary boutique-style accommodation with services and facilities dedicated to aircrew is now available at Le Meridien Heathrow and is the first exclusive crew hotel to open within a deluxe hotel.

The new £23 million aircrew hotel is within the footprint of the existing hotel, the facilities include 300 contemporary bedrooms, an Internet computer room, crew lobby with a separate five-minute check in/out service, Airlines Lounge and private elevators.

According to Wolfgang Nitschke, general manager: “Before embarking on this project we carried out research among several airlines to ensure we not only provided stylish new accommodation within a dedicated environment, but we wanted to understand the specific requirements needed to satisfy the demands of this market.”

Among the additional features and services provided are noise insulation and blackout blinds; powerful hairdryer; play station; satellite TV with international channels; pay-to-view movies; quiet self-closing doors; electronic door locks; in-room safe; “Do Not Disturb” facility; fridges for food products in all bedrooms; individually controllable air-conditioning and heating and 24-hour dedicated security.
In the airlines lounge there will be complimentary tea and coffee, microwave, free magazines, TV, video and DVD player.

Aircrew can also use the hotel`s indoor health club or take the complimentary shopping bus to Kensington High Street or Hounslow town centre.
