Air Canada Launches New Concierge Service

Air Canada launched today its new Concierge
Service in as many as 25 airports around the world. Effective immediately,
more than 170 specially selected and trained Concierge Agents are exclusively
dedicated to Aeroplan Super Elite members and Executive First customers. The
new Concierge Service combines the best features of Canadian Airlines` former
program of the same name and Air Canada`s former Executive First VIP Service
in Toronto and London Heathrow.

“We are delighted to offer our most valued customers around the world
this superior and personalized airport service,” said Lise Fournel, Executive
Vice President, Commercial. “The new Concierge Service complements our
acclaimed business class product and ensures that we continue to provide our
premium customers with personal recognition and the best possible travel
experience with attention to detail and special needs.”

With a direct link to the 24-hour Super Elite reservations desk and to
concierge guilds in cities around the world, Concierge Agents assist premium
customers with ticketing, connections, upgrades, baggage handling and customs
clearance. In addition, Concierge Agents are immediate resources for personal
needs and last-minute arrangements, such as hotel and restaurant bookings,
theatre ticket reservations and limousine service.

Concierge Agents undergo a special training program developed by Air
Canada and the International Concierge Institute, a distinguished training
school for concierges. The course concentrates on service oriented skills and
covers topics such as guest management, cultural diversity, building customer
relationship and creative problem solving.

Concierge Agents can be found at either the Executive First or Executive
Class check-in areas as well as in the Maple Leaf Lounge and departure gate
areas. Concierge Agents are easily identifiable by their distinctive black
uniform and Concierge identification tags. In Canada, Concierge Agents are
available in Halifax, Montréal, Ottawa, Toronto, Winnipeg, Edmonton, Calgary
and Vancouver. In addition, Air Canada offers Concierge Service at three U.S.
and 14 international destinations.
