Cathay Pacific reveals vintage sale

Cathay Pacific Airways has announced that a new luxury range of vintage products will be available for passengers to purchase onboard and online from 1st April 2008.Exclusive to Cathay Pacific, the new range offers passengers rare and one-off pieces from high-profile brands, including Louis Vuitton, Rolex and Hermés. 

The vintage collection includes:

Louis Vuitton:
Three antique Louis Vuitton trunks, designed between 1879 and 1920, offer passengers a unique and stylish travel accessory. Available in monogram, hand-stitched and striped designs, the trunks feature the symbolic and eye-catching LV motif.  Priced from £1,105, all three trunks are available for delivery direct to the door.

Rolex:
Especially sourced for Cathay Pacific, the onboard Rolex range includes the seminal Oyster and Submariner design. The range also includes the highly collectable Explorer II model, affectionately referred to as the ‘Steve McQueen’. Launched in the early 1970s, the Explorer II features a 24-hour fixed bezel and a 24-hour hand displaying the time in two time zones. Prices of the onboard Rolex range start from £1,370, with the sought after Explorer II model available for £12,665. Rolex watches are considered the pre-eminent symbol of prestigious and accurate time keeping and a must-have travel companion.

Hermés:
The onboard Hermés range includes five decadent clocks, dating from as early as 1930 and a silver plated cigar box. Each timepiece incorporates a designer aesthetic with world-class mechanical movement. The range includes designs by Paul Dupre-Lafon and Jaeger-LeCoultre, prices start from £505.
