Caribbean Airlines has introduced new weekend flights to Tobago from its hub in Port of Spain.  Flights will operate on Friday night, Saturday morning, Sunday night and Monday morning from Trinidad and Tobago return.

The service is aimed at domestic passengers looking to visit the island at the weekend as well as providing North-American passengers, tour operators and travel agents with better access to the island.

“The demand on the route observed over the last months clearly indicated that Caribbean Airlines’ capacity was needed between the two islands” says Caribbean Airlines CEO, Peter Davies.  “The added flights will not only serve the domestic demand but will also ensure that connections can be made from Toronto and New-York to Tobago and back catering to the demand of leisure markets in North America “.

With the addition of the new route, passengers from Canada and the USA will be able to purchase tickets and connect seamlessly to Tobago.  Caribbean Airlines intends to use this advantage to better promote Tobago as a premium leisure destination.
