Jamaica continues to witness Spanish investment

By Ben Kilbey
As Spanish investment continues to flourish in Jamaica it was announced at Caribbean Marketplace that the island would see some 5,000 new rooms from investors such as Iberostar, RIU and Amresorts.
These rooms are included in the projected forecast of more than 12,000 new rooms being added to the room inventory in Jamaica over a period of eight years.

The RIU group is one of the largest Spanish investors already owning two properties in Negril. They will add at least another two properties in the developmental period.
