Langham Place Mongkok Opens for Business

The Langham Place Hotel, Mongkok, Hong Kong opened for business today. In one of Kowloon’s busiest areas, this new hotel rises above the Mongkok MTR station at 555 Shanghai Street. In the soft opening phase, the hotel has opened 200 guest rooms while the remaining 465 rooms, meetings and banquet facilities, swimming pool, spa and gym will open up progressively afterwards. The grand opening of the hotel with full facilities has been set for January 2005.

From 1st August to 10th October, the Langham Place Hotel is offering a special “Opening Package” of HK$888++ for an Executive Room including a daily redemption of HK$150 for any consumption within the Hotel.

Guests will experience some of the world’s most innovative, state-of-the-art technology including hotel wide wireless broadband connection, Cisco’s Internet-Portal (IP) Colour Touch Screen Phone and mobile phone, a wall-mounted 42-inch plasma TV as well as a DV/VCD player supported by surround-sound JBL speakers.

Other unique features in the elegantly appointed guest rooms include individual bath and shower units with a separate soothing overhead rain shower, a luxuriating blissful bed and more.

The first new five-star hotel to open in Kowloon in a decade, the Langham Place Hotel forms the centrepiece of a mega 1.8 million sq ft development, Langham Place, which encompasses a high energy 300-shop mall and a 59-storey Grade A office tower.
