Noble House Hotels and Resorts is moving forward in its pledge to provide the newest and most up-to-date services to its guests by installing wireless technology at its LaPlaya Beach & Golf Resort in Naples, Florida.

The technology is provided by Wayport Wireless.  Guests now have wireless access to the Internet at the resort’s pool area, at Baleen, the hotel’s waterside fine-dining restaurant and on the sandy beach overlooking the Gulf of Mexico.  Additionally, each of the resort’s 189 guest rooms are outfitted with wired hi-speed Internet access, and the resort’s meeting rooms are equipped with T1 lines for high-speed Internet access, as well.

“With the amount of corporate business we do here, combined with the technological sophistication of our leisure guests, going high-speed and wireless is a natural progression for LaPlaya,” said Scott Shoenberger, General Manager, LaPlaya Beach & Golf Resort.  “Now business and leisure travelers alike can surf the Net from the their room, the meeting rooms, the pool, the restaurant, the beach or wherever they choose at the property,” added Shoenberger.

 

Fees for the wireless access are included in the daily resort fee, resulting in no additional charge to the guest for using the wireless technology.
