Aeromexico announces new service between Dallas and Mexico City

Aeromexico will start a new twice-daily service between Dallas/Fort Worth (DFW) International Airport and Mexico City in early November.  The new route will use an Embraer 190, which can hold 99 passengers,

“Aeromexico is delighted to start service between Dallas Fort Worth and Mexico City as of November 5,” said Oscar Mejia, Aeromexico VP for North America Sales Division.

“We are confident that the community in Dallas/Fort Worth will enjoy traveling with Aeromexico due to the fact that we are an airline that offers superb amenities that are complimentary to our passengers, such as meal service, full bar, audio/video entertainment, plus the fact that our schedules will enable travel to a wide array of destinations in Mexico, Central and South America,” Mejia added.

“DFW International Airport is pleased and proud to welcome Aeromexico service to Mexico City,” said Jeff Fegan CEO of DFW International Airport. “We are very happy to have Mexico’s leading airline back with us at DFW, and our passengers will benefit from having additional flight choices for international travel.”

Aeromexico carried 14 million passengers in 2011 and offers nearly 600 daily flights to 45 destinations in Mexico and 32 international destinations in the United States, Canada, Central and South America, Europe and Asia.
