Renowned as one of French Polynesia’s premier gastronomic destinations, The St. Regis Bora Bora Resort continues its tradition of exceptional food and wine experiences with Oenology Week, taking place at the resort August 3 - 7, 2026.
This exclusive five-day celebration of fine wines is led by Xavier Thuizat, one of France’s most distinguished sommeliers, crowned Best Sommelier of France 2022, Meilleur Ouvrier de France 2023, and the recipient of the 2024 Michelin Guide Sommelier Award. Thuizat is widely regarded as one of the world’s most accomplished wine experts of his generation. Following nine years at the iconic Hôtel de Crillon in Paris, he now serves as Air France’s Head Sommelier, and in 2025, he opened his first wine bar, Grappille, in Paris.
Throughout the week, guests will enjoy some of the world’s finest wines from the most prestigious vineyards. Experiences during Oenology Week include expertly guided tastings, an immersive masterclass, a wine pairing dinner at the resort’s fine dining restaurant, Lagoon, and other exceptional dining experiences – all at one of the world’s most breathtaking destinations.
Designed for both seasoned wine enthusiasts and curious explorers, Oenology Week offers the opportunity to discover remarkable vintages and learn more about the craftsmanship, history and diversity of some of the finest wines.
