Thomas Cook links with Singapore Tourism Board for marketing push

Thomas Cook Group and Singapore Tourism Board have announced a major cooperative marketing agreement aimed at promoting Singapore as a unique holiday destination rather than just a stop-over haven for UK visitors. The agreement is the first collaborative deal Singapore Tourism Board has executed with Thomas Cook in the UK, and is part of a fully integrated omni-channel campaign targeting travel-intenders across Thomas Cook’s platforms from online to in-store, direct and third party media.

Thomas Cook signs on for Amadeus Altéa solutions

Amadeus and Thomas Cook group airlines have announce an agreement which will see the latter become the first leisure carriers to adopt the Amadeus Altéa solutions. Four of Thomas Cook group airlines based in Germany, the UK, Scandinavia and Belgium adopt Amadeus’ Altéa suite as a single platform to manage reservations, inventory and departure control. By unifying its IT systems across the group, Thomas Cook group airlines will be able to implement a customer-centric strategy offering a single consolidated customer touch point with comprehensive real-time information.

With the summer season holiday flying programme underway, Thomas Cook Airlines has welcomed the arrival of a brand new Airbus A321 aircraft. Fitted out in the airline’s new Sunny Heart livery - registration G-TCDG - the plane was offered the traditional water cannon salute on departure from Stansted to Antalya, Turkey earlier.
