The Seychelles Minister for Tourism and Culture, Alain St.Ange, has said “there is a need to continue to work with hotel owners to encourage them to invest and to upgrade their properties in a bid to for them to be at the level of expectations of our discerning holiday makers, and also to create a conducive working environment for their employees.”

Linhas Aereas de Mozambique has become the 25th carrier to register for the annual Routes Africa event, with chief executive Marlene Mendes Manave confirming her attendance in the Seychelles next month. Other high level airline delegates in attendance this year will include Gebremaraim Tewolde, chief executive of Ethiopian Airlines, Cramer Ball, chief executive of Air Seychelles, both of whom registered earlier this year to take part in the Routes Africa Strategy Forum.
