Marriott International has welcomed the new Moxy Berlin into the heart of the modern capital known for culture; cutting-edge museums, galleries, and nightlife. Moxy Berlin shake-ups the traditional hotel experience by offering Next Generation travellers a spirited and stylish hotel experience at a surprisingly affordable price point.
Marriott has opened the second German hotel under its Moxy lifestyle brand, located in the Eschborn suburb of Frankfurt. The 176 room hotel features a bright, airy and buzzing lobby, a gym, The Living Room which also features ‘abundant power and USB outlets’ as well as and ‘furiously fast and free Wi-Fi’ for ultimate connectivity, The Moxy dining area with plentiful options for food and drink including fresh juices and a coffee bar and a meeting room.
Moxy Hotels has opened its latest hotel in Munich, Germany. Moxy Munich Airport will offer the style and soul of a boutique hotel that is surprisingly affordable. The first Moxy Hotel opened in Milan, Italy in 2014. “Moxy offers a new way of traveling where affordability is not a sacrifice of style, nor a loss of comfort,” said Amy McPherson, president and managing director, Marriott International, Europe.
Marriott International plans to open an additional five Moxy Hotels in key European cities in 2016, including Munich, Eschborn and Berlin in Germany, Oslo in Norway and Aberdeen in the UK. The five properties will strengthen Moxy Hotels’ ongoing expansion plans since its successful debut of Moxy Milan, Italy in September 2014.
Marriott International has the introduced its new lifestyle brand, Moxy Hotels, to Eastern Europe, in partnership with developers GMT Group. The 130 room Moxy Tbilisi Hotel will be managed by Marriott International and is expected to open in 2017. Located in Saarbrucken Square, central Tbilisi, it will be the third Marriott International property owned by GMT Group in Tbilisi in addition to the Courtyard Tbilisi and Tbilisi Marriott Hotel.
