The planning committee of the Royal Borough of Kensington & Chelsea has granted planning consent for the regeneration of the historic Pavilion Road car park site in the heart of Knightsbridge.

Stay has opened its first location in Hawley Wharf, Camden, offering design-led and tech-savvy serviced apartments to encourage a new generation of long and mid-term guests to make the area their home.

The 307-room hotel combines exquisite contemporary accommodation, views across the gardens of Grosvenor Square, and new culinary concepts by Michelin Star restaurateur, Jason Atherton.

London’s MICE offering has received a further boost with the news that 7,995 hotel rooms across 65 new hotels will open next year. The new accommodation will add to the 158,956 existing hotel rooms on offer in the capital and represents the largest number of openings London has ever seen in a single year.

Radisson Hotel Group has signed on the dotted line for the Radisson Red London Greenwich in the UK. It will be the first property to bring the group’s upscale, lifestyle select-service hotel brand to the English capital, joining other UK Radisson Red hotels in Glasgow and Liverpool.
