IHG signs Holiday Inn Plovdiv International Fair in Bulgaria
InterContinental Hotels Group (IHG®), one of the world’s largest hotel companies today announced the signing of Holiday Inn® Plovdiv International Fair in Bulgaria. The hotel is scheduled to open in 2015.
Crowne Plaza Phoenix Airport Hotel gets upgrade
The 290-room Crowne Plaza Phoenix Airport hotel has opened its doors as the latest addition to the portfolio of Phoenix hotels in the IHG family of brands. The 10-story property, a conversion from an independent hotel, has undergone a significant multi-million dollar renovation and is the third hotel for the Crowne Plaza brand in Phoenix.

IHG takes Staybridge Suites into Saudi Arabia
InterContinental Hotels Group has signed a 15 year management agreement with Al Andalus Property for a Staybridge Suites hotel in Jeddah, Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. Staybridge Suites Al Andalus Mall is due to be the first Staybridge Suites property to open in Saudi Arabia.

InterContinental expands Russian presence with new properties
InterContinental Hotels Group has sought further growth in Russia and the CIS with the signing of three hotels in the region: Holiday Inn Express Naberezhnye-Chelny, Holiday Inn Express Samara and Staybridge Suite Baku. Holiday Inn Express Naberezhnye-Chelny is the third hotel to be signed as part of the multiple development franchise agreement signed in March 2013 with Regional Hotel Chain, a portfolio company of VIY Management, to develop 15 new hotels in Russia by 2019.
Holiday Inn set to open in Mexico
Holiday Inn Monclova hotel is set to open its doors following a $10 million investment, marking the first Holiday Inn hotel in Coahuila and the fifth IHG-branded hotel for the state of Mexico. Other IHG-branded hotels in Coahuila include a Crowne Plaza hotel and three Holiday Inn Express hotels.
Hotel Indigo expands in US
InterContinental Hotels Group (IHG) has converted the Hotel Indigo Anaheim hotel, the Hotel Indigo brand’s fourth property in California. The Hotel Indigo estate is expected to double in size within the next three to five years with recent growth in U.S. markets as well as strong international growth.
