Westin set to open in Greenwood Village Colorado

The Westin Greenwood Village is set to open in 2016. The newly constructed property will feature 203 spacious rooms, ample meeting space and all the brand’s signature amenities. Located in Denver’s southwest business corridor, The Westin Greenwood Village will be the Westin brand’s fourth hotel to open in greater Denver.

“We are delighted to bring the Westin brand to Greenwood Village, a leading business hub where guests will also enjoy convenient access to upscale shops, dining and entertainment,” said Brian Povinelli, Global Brand Leader for Westin Hotels & Resorts and Le Méridien. “The Westin Greenwood Village will appeal to both business and leisure travelers seeking to recharge and revitalize with the help of the Westin brand’s signature programs and amenities, designed to send them home feeling better than when they arrived.”

“We are pleased to continue to grow our portfolio and partner with Jackson Street Holdings, Starwood Hotels & Resorts and Greenwood Village,” said Dave Sibley, CEO Hospitality Management at White Lodging. “This is now White Lodging’s third Westin in our management portfolio.”

The Westin Greenwood Village will be ideally situated near the Denver Tech Center, a 900-acre development with over 9.4 million square feet of office and retail space and home to more than 1,000 companies. Offering views of downtown Denver and the Rocky Mountains, the hotel will be adjacent to the Arapahoe Light Rail Station, which provides direct access to downtown Denver, and in the near future, to the Denver International Airport (DEN). Across the street are several premium office towers and the Fiddler’s Green Amphitheatre. The Park Meadows shopping and entertainment district, several golf courses and recreation areas are all nearby.

“The Westin brand is a great fit for Greenwood Village, and we expect to attract both business and leisure travelers who are drawn to the brand’s emphasis on wellbeing,” said Allison Reid, Senior Vice President of North America Development, Starwood Hotels & Resorts Worldwide, Inc. “Westin recently crossed the 200th hotel milestone globally, and continues to be sought after by owners and developers across North America due to the resounding success of its innovative products and brand-led programs.”
