Seychelles moves on Korea to attract its share of the market

Alain St.Ange, the CEO of the Seychelles Tourism Board, was personally in Seoul recently to meet with the Seychelles Korea Office Manager and staff. Dong Chang Jeong, the Seychelles Consul in Korea is also the head of the Tourism Board’s operation in Korea, and he is assisted by Julie Kim as the Board’s Korea Manager.

Seychelles has been able to benefit from a sponsorship from the companies of Mr. Jeong to place for the next 6 months advertising at 50 train stations on their Green Line. This is believed to be the busiest lines and now 1,492 TV monitors are spreading images of Seychelles daily to some 2,009,000 commuters in the Seoul Metropolitan metro.

“The aim of this splash across Seoul is to make Seychelles more known,” said Alain St.Ange, who was thankful for the continued efforts by Mr. Jeong and his staff for their love of Seychelles. The Seychelles Tourism Board is working to consolidate its main tourism markets, which currently remains as Europe, as they also work on diversifying their market base.
