Rieu appointed to hotel operations manager role with Dukes London

Dukes London has announced Samantha Rieu has been appointed to the role of hotel operations manager.

With an extensive history in catering and hospitality, Rieu trained at Strasbourg’s Lycée Hotelier Alexandre Dumas, before taking up positions at an array of world-famous hotels, including the Fairmont Boston, The Savoy and The Mandarin Oriental in London.

She has a range of experience in running some of the finest restaurants in the UK, including Harvey Nichols’ Fifth Floor, and the Michelin-starred Roussillon under Alexis Gauthier, making her a stellar addition to the business.

Rieu will oversee the hotel operations of Dukes London’s 90-bedroom hotel, including GBR (Great British Restaurant).

Of her new appointment, Rieu said: “I very much look forward to working with the executive team to continue our delivery of five-star deluxe service and stretch above and beyond to deliver excellence.”

A dual national of France and Germany, Rieu’s multiple languages and master’s degree in hotel management from the EM Strasbourg Business School ensures she brings a strong and diverse skillset to complement the guest services and management of Dukes London.
