Mövenpick Resort & Spa Karon Beach Phuket has appointed Bertrand Margerie to the position of resident manager.

In his capacity, he will oversee all managerial aspects of operational functions, and will assist the hotel’s general manager in strategic business activities.

Born and educated in France, Margerie graduated from the National School of Trade & Tourism. 

Prior to joining Mövenpick Resort & Spa Karon Beach Phuket, he has had an extensive international hotel background having worked for a variety of international brand hotels mainly throughout Europe, Africa and Middle-East during his 26-year career.

Most recently he held the position of resident manager for InterContinental Aqaba Resort, Jordan.
