Hilton London Heathrow Airport Terminal 5 Appoints Executive Management Team

Located just over a mile from Heathrow Airport Terminal 5, the new executive team consists of experienced hospitality professional’s with expertise from some of the world’s leading hotel companies.

The hotel will be led by general manager, Greg Place, who has extensive experience of both the UK and international hotel industries.  During his career he has worked with several major hotel brands including Hilton Hotels & Resorts, Marriott and IHG at various senior levels. Place was previously vice president of operations for Whitbread Hotel Company and subsequently became director of strategic development for Whitbread’s London properties.  Place’s experience with several hotels openings makes him an ideal leader for Hilton London Heathrow Airport Terminal 5.

Newly recruited hotel manager, Alexandra Mosquito, also has a wealth of management experience encompassing Hilton Hotels & Resorts, Marriott, IHG, Accor and Millennium & Copthorne.  Mosquito’s experience and ability to develop a culture of exceptional service delivery is proven through the many customer service excellence awards she achieved at Novotel London West.

Caroline Lowe, director of human resources, is responsible for building and developing a team of more than 200 Team Members for the new opening and has the proven employee development skills for the project.  Starting her career at privately owned hotels in Oxford and Knightsbridge her career also includes Radisson Edwardian, Marriott and Rezidor Hotel Group.

Taking the post of director of business development is Tiffany Crawford.  Crawford has a wealth of commercial expertise and significant local market knowledge gained at hotels in and around the Heathrow area, where she has held various revenue management roles for IHG, Park Inn and Marriott.

Jo Peck, whose previous experience includes the role of director of business development at Hilton London Paddington as well as regional and corporate sales with Marriott, takes the post of director of sales and marketing.  Peck’s main responsibility includes building the hotel’s reputation in the meetings & events market and promoting the hotel to Heathrow’s corporate audience.

Completing the team is Steven Close, who began his career as financial controller for Gillingham and Sittingbourne Football Clubs.  Close previously worked with Hilton Hotels & Resorts for 12 years as director of finance for two properties in Northern Ireland.  After a stint working for Bespoke Hotels, Close re-joins the brand as director of finance and brings his outstanding financial and commercial skills to this exciting project.

On his newly appointed executive management team, Place said, “I am delighted to be leading a team with such a broad depth of experience.
