Gardiner launches new eco-tourism-focused documentary series
Paul Gardiner, conservationist, eco-tourism expert and ultra-distance runner, is launching his new YouTube documentary series, Natural Born Runners, which blends adventure, conservation and sustainable travel.
The six-part series debuts during the COP16 summit and showcases some of the most breathtaking natural landscapes in the world while highlighting eco-conscious travel destinations that are committed to preserving biodiversity and fostering sustainable tourism.
Gardiner, who hails from a family deeply involved in rewilding and eco-tourism, uses Natural Born Runners as a platform to combine his two passions: running and protecting the planet.
The series takes viewers on a journey across the globe, visiting places where conservation efforts and sustainable travel intersect.
From remote wilderness reserves to eco-friendly luxury accommodations, Gardiner showcases how sustainable tourism can support the rewilding movement.

These locations not only serve as spectacular backdrops for runs but also represent a new wave of eco-tourism destinations where travellers can immerse themselves in nature while leaving a minimal environmental footprint.
“Today’s travellers are looking for more than just luxury, they want purpose,” said Gardiner.
“Whether it’s staying in an eco-friendly lodge or running through a wilderness reserve, people want to feel like their travels are making a difference.
“That’s what Natural Born Runners is all about—encouraging sustainable travel that supports conservation and protects the natural world.”
