Sir Rocco Forte was in Moscow today to launch his new sales office in the city. The move recognises the increase in Russian business to the group`s existing hotels in St Petersburg, the UK, Italy and Belgium and the importance of this market to them.

Elena Demidova will be based in Moscow to oversee sales activities within the office. Elena was previously based at the company`s five-star Hotel Astoria in St Petersburg where she spent five years working in the hotel`s sales and marketing department.

Commenting on the new office, Sir Rocco said, “Many Russians are now travelling abroad and are already using a number of our hotels in Europe and St Petersburg. I hope that our presence in Moscow will make things easier for those wishing to visit and that more will be persuaded to use our fine hotels.”
