Super 8 Motels Appoints Six New Members

Super 8 Motels, Inc.® announces the appointment of six new members to the chain`s Managers Advisory Board. The new members were selected based on their experience and performance as Super 8 motel managers, and will represent Super 8 managers system-wide.


Following are the new members and the Super 8 motels they represent: Darcy Keitzer-Dennison, Rapid City/Lacrosse, S.D.; Denise Johnson, Regional Manager of the Peninsula Group; Barry Jollensten, Ogallala, Neb.; Ron Wiebe, Kelowna, B.C., Canada; Bonnie Bond, Cuba, Mo.; Glenn Haan, Weston, W.Va.


Super 8`s 12-member Managers Advisory Board was created to allow for an exchange of ideas, to facilitate communication and to keep Super 8 management apprised of issues and ideas.


The non-voting, non-binding board meets quarterly and members serve a two-year term. The new members will attend their first meeting Wednesday, August 2 in Halifax, Nova Scotia Canada.


“Our Managers Advisory Board is unique in the industry and is extremely valuable in dealing with operating concerns,” said President and CEO Robert N. Weller.
