Park Place Entertainment Corporation (NYSE:PPE) announced today the promotions of William M. Bigelow and Mark Rittorno.
William M. Bigelow, president of the Las Vegas Hilton, has been given responsibility for all Park Place Entertainment properties in northern Nevada as well as the Flamingo Laughlin. Prior to his current position at the Las Vegas Hilton, Bigelow, a 20-year veteran of the Company, has worked in various positions in the Company including the president of the Flamingo Laughlin.

Mark Rittorno, senior vice president of hotel operations at Paris and Bally`s Las Vegas, has been named the president of the Flamingo Las Vegas. Prior to his current position at Paris and Bally`s Las Vegas, Rittorno, an 18-year veteran of the Company, has worked in various positions in the Company including senior vice president of hotel operations at the Las Vegas Hilton.

Both Bigelow and Rittorno will report to Mark Dodson, executive vice president of Park Place Entertainment.
