The Clarion Hotel, located at 7909 I-40 East (exit 75) and Lakeside Drive just minutes from Amarillo International Airport, is now open.

The Clarion Hotel, which formerly operated as a Radisson Inn, is owned and operated by KS Lodging, Inc.
The 206-unit Clarion Hotel features spacious guest rooms and suites with one king and two double-size beds. Each room includes a remote-control cable television with pay for view movies, computer data port, coffee maker, two-line telephone with voice mail, iron, ironing board and hairdryer. Some rooms also feature a balcony, sofa bed, mini refrigerator, microwave, steam bath and/or whirlpool, in-room desk and wet bar. The Presidential Parlor, honeymoon suites, business class rooms and rooms for individuals with disabilities also are available.
The two-story Clarion Hotel is currently undergoing a renovation, which should be completed by December 2002. The renovation includes upgrading guest rooms with new furniture, Serta Sleeper mattresses, wall coverings and carpeting; redecorating existing public areas and adding a business center with a computer, printer, facsimile machine and copier.
The Clarion Hotel features a heated indoor pool and covered atrium with tropical landscaping; full service restaurant, catering department, room service, bar and nightclub; exercise room, billiard and game room; next day valet service, free airport shuttle and parking. The hotel also features over 12,000 square feet of meeting and banquet space which can be divided into 10 breakout rooms and accommodate up to 900 individuals.
Room rates begin at $57. Children, ages 18 and under, stay free when accompanied by a parent or guardian.
Discounts are available when booked in advance on a space-available basis for seniors, American Automobile Association members, business travelers, government and military personnel and groups.
The Clarion Hotel is one mile from Firewater Water Park, seven miles from Wonderland Amusement Park, 10 miles from Discovery Center and 15 miles from Palo Duro Canyon. Westgate Mall is 10 miles from the hotel.
The Clarion Hotel participates in Choice Privileges, Choice`s frequent-traveler program where guests can earn points toward free stays and gift certificates when staying at U.S. Comfort Inn, Comfort Suites, Quality, Clarion and Sleep Inn brand hotels.
