Bags More Room In Europe

British Airways has completed its £50 million investment in Club Europe by giving business passengers an unbeatable handbaggage allowance.

From Monday, October 16, passengers in the airline’s shorthaul business class will be able to take two pieces of hand baggage, weighing up to 18 kgs on board - double the previous allowance.

The new hand baggage allowance completes the major improvements to Club Europe which include refurbished cabins on all European flights, with leather seats for enhanced comfort, new brighter interiors and a new menu offering more choice and healthier dishes.

Passengers can now also benefit from the best yet European schedule with more early morning departures from Heathrow than ever returning in the same day to the most popular business destinations.

Martin George, British Airways` Director of Marketing, said: “Our £50 million investment in Club Europe adds up to giving passengers the best products, service and schedules in Europe.

“For many of our customers being able to make the most of the working day is all important - that is why the Club Europe schedule focuses on offering passengers greater frequency, same day returns and first out and last back flights for flexibility.
“The new increased handbaggage allowance combined with our self-service ticketing kiosks at 44 airports will ensure that our passengers can make the most of their valuable time.”
