easyJet sold 26,555 seats online during the week ending 12 December 1999, which represented 39.5% of all seat sales
easyJet has now sold over 1.3 million seats online. The airline started selling seats over the Internet in April 1998, and eighteen months later, in October 1999 had sold 1 million seats online.

The fact that almost one third as many seats again have sold in only two months indicates a phenomenal acceleration of growth in easyJet online sales.
