Concorde reveals key appointments

The Concorde Hotels & Resorts Group has announced four key appointments to its management and sales teams in Paris and Geneva.  The appointments come at a key time in Concorde’s strategic development and are pivotal to the growth of MICE and corporate segments. Bernard Granier is rejoining the group as Regional Operations Director for Concorde Hotels & Resorts in Paris, as well as returning to the role of General Manager at the Hotel Concorde La Fayette, Concorde’s Parisian flagship property. Granier, 59, previously held this role between 2001-2003, and now with the additional title of regional director he will oversee seven properties, representing close to 2,500 guest rooms and suites in the French capital.  Granier returns to Concorde from the Mövenpick Group, where latterly he was senior vice-president for Europe and Africa.

Also in Paris Jér™me Billy has recently taken on the position of Director of Sales at the Hotel du Louvre and Hotel Lutetia.  In this new role he will lead a team of six driving sales to two of Concorde’s most prestigious Parisian hotels.  Billy joins Concorde from Hotel Mövenpick Resort & Spa in Mauritius, where his role was to build the group’s sales structure for Mauritius and Europe, strengthen local relationships and develop new markets.

 

In Geneva, Alessandro Redaelli has been appointed as General Manager at the recently renovated five star Hotel de la Paix.  Joining him is a new Director of Sales, Christel Dreyfuss.  Prior to his new role, Redaelli worked with the Boscolo group, where he was General Manager of seven luxury hotels in Italy and Europe, latterly the Exedra Hotel in Rome.  Dreyfuss has worked with the Relais & Ch‰teaux group, the Domaine de Divonne (a member of Leading Hotels of the World) and InterContinental Hotels Group. Her most recent role was Deputy Director of Sales at the Ramada Encore Hotel in Geneva.  Together Redaelli and Dreyfuss will be working to drive sales by emphasising the Hotel de la Paix’s history, exceptional location and high quality service, as well as building on the hotel’s groups and conferences offering.
