Press: Alitalia business plan due August 30

Ailing Italian airline Alitalia will present the outlines of a new business plan at an August 30 board meeting, Il Sole-24 Ore reports Tuesday without citing sources. The tentative plan will call to improve Rome hub Fiumicino and reduce the number of flights from Milan’s Malpensa airport, the paper says.

It will also temporarily suspend flights to China and India, and increase those to North and South America.
