Six Hyatt spas win awards

Six Hyatt properties have been honored by Travel +Leisure’s 11th annual World’s Best Spa poll. This esteemed accolade, given by the readers of Travel + Leisure, is a true mark of excellence in the industry.

Hyatt Resorts’ three Hawaiian properties ranked in the Top 10 Hotel Spas inHawaii with Grand Hyatt Kauai Resort & Spa ranked third, Hyatt Regency MauiResort & Spa ranked fifth and Hyatt Regency Waikiki Resort & Spa rankedtenth. Hyatt had more properties on the top 10 Hawaiian spas list than anyother hotel chain. All three resorts offer distinctive treatments rooted inthe Hawaiian culture including the Kaanapali Salt Glow offered at Spa Moanaat the Hyatt Regency Maui and the lomi-lomi massage offered at the NaHo’ola Spa at Hyatt Regency Waikiki. To further enhance the guestexperience the ANARA spa at the Grand Hyatt Kauai will complete renovationsin early 2007.

Tamaya Mist at the Hyatt Regency Tamaya Resort & Spa, located in Santa AnaPueblo, was the only property in the state of New Mexico to make the top 25hotel spas in the U.S. This unique spa offers a calming and rejuvenatingmenu of services based in the traditions of the Tamayame, including AncientDrumming where guests are massaged with mud and chilis from a localmountain and the therapist drums to help alleviate stress.

Park Hyatt Toronto was honored as one of the top five hotel spas in thisyear’s poll.
