WORLDHOTELS gets 4 new air partners

WORLDHOTELS adds four more international airlines to its existing portfolio of 12 frequent flyer partnerships. Air France/KLM, SN Brussels Airlines and US Airways joined on June 1st 2006, followed by Alitalia on July 1st 2006.

With 16 airline partners WORLDHOTELS is the only hotel group for independent hotels offering such a large network of frequent flyer partnerships, which brings significant benefits to both members and customers alike.

Travellers can choose from a wide selection of frequent flyer programmes from all major regions, including Lufthansa Miles & More, United Airlines Mileage Plus and Air China Companion. For each qualifying stay with WORLDHOTELS guests will receive a minimum of 500 airline miles from their preferred frequent flyer programme.

Air France/KLM and US Airways have a special introductory offer for WORLDHOTELS guests who are members of their programmes. They will earn 1,500 miles for a qualifying stay. More details about these triple miles promotions can be found on www.worldhotels.com/programs/index.html .

“The lack of options on frequent flyer programmes for independent hotels is a long standing issue”, said Nicole Bernthaler, Chief Marketing Officer for WORLDHOTELS. “However, WORLDHOTELS members can rest assured that because savvy travellers often select accommodation according to which frequent flyer partner the hotel uses, they can now compete with global hotel chains on frequent flyer offerings.”
