VLM Increases Antwerp Frequency

From Monday 3rd October 2005, VLM Airlines will add an extra rotation to their Antwerp-London City route, bringing the total number of flights to 6 daily return flights.Ê
The extra flight will depart Antwerp at 08.25, arriving in London City at 08.30, allowing passengers who work in the city to be in the office before their English colleagues.Ê The return flight will depart out of London City at 18.50, and arrive in Antwerp at 20.50.Ê
Ê
More and more business passengers are using the Antwerp - London City service because it has proven to be the fastest connection between Antwerp and London.Ê No other airline or train will get them to the centre of London any faster.Ê The 50 minutes flight, combined with excellent punctuality figures and short check in times, is a tremendous asset and one that is very much appreciated by the business community that regularly flies to London.
Ê
Both Antwerp airport and London City airport offer swift embarkation and disembarkation procedures and sufficient car parking facilities (Antwerp airport offers parking free of charge). In addition, in December of this year, The Docklands Light Railway (part of London Transport) will link London City Airport with Bank (in 22 minutes) and Canary Wharf (in 14 minutes).
Ê
Johan Vanneste, Managing Director of VLM Airlines comments: “Customer feedback and growing passenger numbers were the main reasons behind this decision.Ê We know more and more people are finding their way to Antwerp as it offers the fastest connection to the centre of London, and there is no train that can beat that!”
Ê
The punctuality figure on the Antwerp - London City for July 2005 was a staggering 93.28%, and makes perfect sense in the time saving elements VLM Airlines offers its passengers.
