Downe Cottages, a rural retreat located just one mile from the spectacular North Devon coast in England, has just added a spacious spa and state-of-the-art gymnasium to its facilities.

The exclusive cottage complex has strategically located the new facility to allow guests to enjoy stunning views across the lush countryside to the Atlantic.

The new addition at Downe includes an octagonal spa bath with whirlpool jets, a sauna and a steam room. Guests wishing to relax in the spa’s roomy seating area will have views across the beautiful lily pond to the coast through two large windows, while those who head for the comfortable settees adjacent to the gymnasium can take advantage of a large screen television.

Among the treatments available at the spa will be aromatherapy, reflexology and lymph drainage massages. The new gymnasium is equipment with a treadmill, rowing machine, cycle, stepper, weights and some multi-gyms. However, arguably the most impressive feature of the gymnasium is its spectacular view of the coast and the picturesque island of Lundy.
