Eurowings takes off for Punta Cana, Dominican Republic
The first Eurowings long-haul flight from Düsseldorf took off earlier, headed for Punta Cana in the Dominican Republic. The dream destination will be operated with four flights a week, on Mondays, Wednesdays, Fridays and Sundays.

As Eurowings continues to expand its UK network, Europe’s fastest growing airline is adding a Jersey-Hamburg route to its portfolio. The once weekly flight will take off every Sunday as of May 6th, 2018.

Eurowings has added a total of 22 new destinations to its summer flight schedule for 2018. A large number of new routes from Munich, Hanover, Cologne, Salzburg, Stuttgart, Hamburg and Palma complete the offering of the expanding low-cost carrier.
Eurowings reaches agreement with UFO union
Eurowings and the cabin crew union UFO have agreed a “collective agreement for growth”. Jörg Beissel, executive director of human resources and finance at Eurowings, said: “This is a ground-breaking step in light of the fact that we already have several hundred qualified applications.”
Eurowings launches recruitment drive to meet growing demand
Eurowings Group is looking for pilots, co-pilots, pursers and flight attendants to operate aircraft in order to facilitate its corporate growth. In a first phase, the initial aim is to hire 200 pilots and 400 flight attendants, with applications now being accepted.

Eurowings to add leisure flights to Agadir, Morocco, this winter
Eurowings continues to expand the offering from its base in Vienna, with a new connection to Agadir in the south of Morocco set to be added this winter. The quality low-cost carrier will open the route on November 4th; it will be operated on Saturdays with an Airbus A319.
