Five leading airline catering providers have launched the Airline Catering Association as a non-profit international organisation, based in Brussels, Belgium. Do & Co, dnata, gategroup, the LSG Group, and Newre are all involved in the new body.

Global air services provider dnata has signed another multi-year agreement with a Chinese carrier Hainan Airlines to provide full ground handling services for the airline’s new flights to Sydney’s Kingsford Smith Airport. This is the second Chinese airline customer that dnata has won this year, adding to the contract with Xiamen Air announced earlier in the month.

Amadeus inks deal to provide departure control to dnata

Amadeus has announced an agreement with dnata, one of the world’s largest combined air services providers, to implement Amadeus Altéa Departure Control’s Flight Management solution in their centralised load control offices in Dubai. The airport ground handler, part of the Emirates group, is now present in 75 airports in 38 countries.
