The Emirates Group has released its 2021-22 annual report which shows strong recovery across its businesses. dnata returns to profitability, and significant revenue improvements were reported across both Emirates and dnata as the group rebuilt its air transport and travel-related operations which were previously cut-back or curtailed by the COVID-19 pandemic.

Global air services provider dnata has signed another multi-year agreement with a Chinese carrier Hainan Airlines to provide full ground handling services for the airline’s new flights to Sydney’s Kingsford Smith Airport. This is the second Chinese airline customer that dnata has won this year, adding to the contract with Xiamen Air announced earlier in the month.
