THAI resumes flights to flooded Samui

Thai Airways International Public Company Limited (THAI) resumes flights to Samui after postponement, due to airport closure as a result of heavy rain and flooding.

Mr. Piyasvasti Amranand, THAI President, said the airline is able to resume three flights to Samui today and to transport 600 passengers who were stranded on the island as a result of heavy flooding of the airport, causing its temporary closure yesterday.  With the weather clearing up and the airport coming back to normal operations, THAI is able to operate these flights.
