Perrochon appointed commercial director with Bench Events

Bench Events has appointed Jean to spearhead the development and launch of new events worldwide.

In his position as commercial director with the global business event organiser, Perrochon will be responsible for developing sponsorship and new business revenues across Bench Event’s international portfolio.

Bilingual in French and English, he was raised in Côte D’Ivoire and England.

He has worked closely with government organisations and investors in Europe, Africa and the Middle East.

Perrochon has more than 18 years’ business-to-business media experience across a range of industry sectors, working for some of the world’s best-known media brands and with development agencies and major businesses worldwide.

He will be supporting the launch of FIHA – Bench Events’ new hotel investment conference for the Francophone African markets – Forum de l’Investment Hôtelier Africain.

This inaugural event, the sister of the successful African Hotel Investment Forum, will take place on February 7th-8th at the Mövenpick Hotel Mansour Eddahbi in Marrakech, Morocco. 

As well as supporting the development of the Francophone portfolio Jean will also be working on developing the commercial plans for Global Restaurant Investment Forum in Amsterdam.

In 2019 he shall work across the Bench Events portfolio enabling the organisation to achieve their exciting growth plans.

He is passionate about nurturing commercial opportunities to drive local and international investments worldwide.

In his spare time Perrochon enjoys exploring the world with his wife and two young sons, watching Arsenal FC, French rugby and sampling global cuisine.
