Korean Air expands Brazilian offering with GOL codeshare

Korean Air, the flagship carrier of South Korea, has announced a new codeshare agreement with GOL Linhas Aéreas Inteligentes under the condition of Brazil government approval.

Starting from tomorrow, the codeshare agreement will offer greater convenience and choice to passengers travelling through Sao Paulo to 16 other cities within Brazil including Rio de Janeiro, Brasilia and Manaus.

Korean Air currently operates an A330 aircraft from Incheon, South Korea, to Sao Paulo, Brazil, three times a week.

The flight departs every Monday, Wednesday and Friday from Incheon and every Tuesday, Thursday and Saturday from Sao Paulo.

Korean Air currently has code share partnerships with 33 airlines on 219 routes worldwide, including AirFrance, AeroMéxico and China Southern Airlines.
