Hong Kong Tourism Board revamps trade website

Hong Kong Tourism Board has re-launched a new trade information portal, Partnernet, ahead of World Travel Market in the UK.

The site has a contemporary design and new features which will provide UK tour operators and travel agents with the best possible tools to promote the destination.

The new site is divided into eight sections for easy navigation, covering the latest industry news from Hong Kong, new developments in the tourism sector, information on cruises and details of meetings and exhibitions in Hong Kong.

Through Partnernet, registered users can access an expansive photo library, tour products and services database and details of the latest trade events to allow partners to broaden their network and strengthen their skills.

The e-marketplace feature allows users to search for potential business partners, as well as create their own profile to display their business opportunities.

For background information on Hong Kong and neighbouring countries for multi-destination trips, Partnernet provides a comprehensive database of local experiences, facts, events and celebrations, as well as the latest visitor statistics and market summaries from Hong Kong.

Dawn Page, director UK & Northern Europe, Hong Kong Tourism Board said: “HKTB is committed to providing travel agents and tour operators with the latest information and developments from Hong Kong.

“We believe the new features on Partnernet will enable the travel trade to effectively sell the destination and showcase the best of Hong Kong.”
