Hamilton adds two luxury South African properties to portfolio Steenberg Hotel in South Africa

Ethos Marketing has partnered with travel PR consultancy Hamilton Public Relations to promote two luxury hotels in South Africa.

Ethos, which specialises in UK sales and marketing for Africa and Indian Ocean hotels, will work with Hamilton Public Relations to raise the profile of two of its luxury hotels, Steenberg in Cape Town’s Constantia Valley and Fancourt on the famous “Garden Route.”

Hamilton has been hired to communicate news from both Steenberg and Fancourt to the media, create excitement about the properties and secure media visits to experience the hotels in return for travel features and reviews.

“We are delighted to have Hamilton Public Relations onboard to support us in our PR efforts for these two stunning properties”, said Alison Whitfield, managing director of Ethos Marketing.

“Hamilton’s passion for the destination, coupled with the agency’s strong media contacts made them the ideal partner for us.”

The 24-room, luxury Steenberg Hotel is nestled in the tranquil Constantia Valley, just twenty minutes from Cape Town’s V&A Waterfront and the city centre.

Situated on the Cape’s oldest farm, The Steenberg Estate boasts a daytime restaurant, ‘Bistro Sixteen82’; a contemporary, fine dining restaurant, ‘Catharina’s’ which offers spectacular views of False Bay & the Steenberg Mountains; a stylish new bar, ‘Gorgeous’, which exclusively serves Graham Beck bubbles in honour of the hotel’s late owner; a Ginko Spa, working winery and an 18-hole Championship golf course.

In turn, Fancourt is a luxury resort situated in the heart of South Africa’s famous ‘Garden Route’, just seven kilometres from George Airport and the historic town of George.

The resort is superbly landscaped on 613 hectares of lush countryside with the majestic Outeniqua Mountains as the perfect backdrop.

Fancourt offers 115 rooms on the resort as well as the new ‘Manor House’ boutique accommodation, which features 18 luxury suites offering personalised, butler-style service.

The property is presently nominated as Africa’s Leading Golf Resort at the World Travel Awards. Click here to vote.
