Expedia Affiliate Network has announced a partnership with Singapore Airlines’ newly launched low cost subsidiary Scoot.

The tie-up between EAN and one of the most exciting new aviation brands aims to provide Scoot’s customers with access to the best hotels, at the best rates and in the best locations in every city where Scoot flies.

Scoot brings an economic flight service from Singapore to destinations in Australia, China and Thailand, and will include hotel bookings from EAN as part of a package of additional travel services at affordable prices.

Scoot will use EAN’s advanced Chameleon platform to provide customers with the most relevant hotels through an intuitive user interface and fast search process.

EAN president Henrik Kjellberg commented: “We are really happy to be working with one of the freshest brands to hit the aviation scene in many years, and we’re looking forward to helping Scoot provide a memorable, high value travel experience to its customers.

“Our team will continue to work closely with Scoot with the goal of maximizing conversion rates for Scoot, and creating the best possible value for its customers.”

By using the Chameleon platform, Scoot’s website gains a highly-customizable optimized booking path.

In addition, Scoot will use EAN’s global offline support network to maximise conversion rates.

Thanks to the EAN services, Scoot’s site will be fully white-label, and will include high-quality visuals, as well as user generated content from TripAdvisor, so that customers can inform their purchasing decisions through the experiences of their fellow travellers.

This partnership continues EAN’s success in the APAC region, following partnerships with Tiger Airways, Japan’s Jalan.net, Macau.com and Webjet.

This expansion has been complimented by rapid growth in EAN’s hotel inventory in that region.
