Eurostar services between the UK and Brussels to resume on Monday 1 March

Eurostar services between the UK and Brussels to resume on Monday 1 March

Five return services will operate between the UK and Brussels on both Saturday 27 February and Sunday 28 February

Eurostar services between the UK and Brussels will resume on Monday 1 March, when the high-speed lines near the site of the recent train accident will re-open.

On Saturday and Sunday there will be 5 direct services between the UK and Brussels. In addition, to ensure that customers get to their destination these services will be reinforced by a shuttle coach service between Lille and Brussels.

Over the weekend, trains will be leaving Brussels 20 minutes earlier than the advertised time and customers will be informed of this change to the timetable.

All of Eurostar’s other services to Paris, Disneyland Resort Paris and the direct ski services continue to operate normally.

Further details of services:

Full details of services on Monday and over the weekend are available on: http://www.eurostar.com/UK/uk/leisure/customer_care/questions_answers.jsp or by calling 08432 186186.

When services resume, a speed restriction will be in place in the Brussels area which will add approximately 5 minutes to journey times. Passengers are advised that other short delays could still occur.

On Saturday 27 and Sunday 28 February a small number of services will be replaced by Eurostar between Lille and London and a shuttle coach service. Passengers who decide not to travel on these days are being offered to exchange their tickets for a later travel date or for a full refund.

On Monday 1 March, the 07:59 Brussels to London service (Train no: 9113) is cancelled. Customers with tickets for this train are advised to come to the station to travel on either the 06:59 (Train no: 9109) or the 09:29 (Train no: 9119) services to London. Space is available for these customers on these services.

On Tuesday 2 March a full service between Brussels and UK is expected to operate.
