Chavana Spa launched at Sheraton Hotel Navi Mumbai

Steiner Leisure Limited (SLL) has begun operating a Chavana spa at the Four Points by Sheraton Hotel Navi Mumbai in India, marking its entry to the Indian market.

The 3,229sq ft (300sq m) Chavana-branded spa at the Four Points by Sheraton debuted in February 2010.

The new-build facility has four treatment rooms and has been staffed entirely by Balinese therapists. All spa operational products will be supplied by Chavana Spa in Bali.

SLL will operate the spa for the next 10 years as part of the agreement. The Chavana brand is the newest within SLL’s portfolio and offers a streamlined treatment menu focused on Balinese treatments and philosophies. Elsewhere within the Chavana portfolio, the Frankincense Spa by Chavana at the Marriott Resort in Mirbat, Salalah, in the Sultanate of Oman, has recently opened.

The spa features four single treatment rooms as well as an open-air verandah and a reception and retail area. The Mirbat-based resort is the first Marriott Hotel to open in Oman. Details:
