The Langham Hotel Boston (formerly Le Meridien Boston) has today announced that Avenue Sales & Marketing will assume responsibility for their representation in the UK market.
Serge Denis, Managing Director of the Langham Hotel Boston said: “We are delighted to have Ian Mills and his team working to promote our new name in the UK market.  Avenue is already identified with the growing Langham brand through its association with our properties in Hong Kong and Canada and we look forward to growing our business from the UK further.”

Langham Hotels International Limited - formerly known as Great Eagle Hotels International Limited and a wholly-owned subsidiary of Great Eagle Holdings Ltd, took over the management of the Hotel from the Meridien Group on 1st January 2004 and will continue to operate it as the Langham Hotel, Boston together with Great Eagle’s other equally deluxe properties, the Langham Hotel, London and the Langham Hotel, Hong Kong.

The re-branding of the Boston hotel reflects the move of Langham Hotels International into direct management in North America where the Group has further interest to expand. Langham Hotels International is currently preparing for the opening this summer of Langham Place Hotel, its second five star property in Hong Kong.

The Boston hotel opened in 1981 within the building that originally housed the former Federal Reserve Bank of Boston and has been successfully operated as one of the city’s top hotels located in the Financial District. It is a luxury 326 room property located close to the heart of Boston’s downtown historic district within easy walking distance of City Hall, Boston Common, the Freedom Trail, Faneuil Hall and the popular Quincy Market.

The Langham, Boston will continue as a member of ‘The Leading Hotels of the World’, providing its customers with the additional advantage of links to those deluxe properties throughout the world, in addition to those of Langham Hotels International.
