Delta, Continental, Northwest to Expand Codeshare

Delta Air Lines , Continental Airlines , and Northwest Airlines today
announced the expansion of codeshare service for customers traveling
between the United States and 11 destinations in Latin America, the
Caribbean and Canada.

Northwest will begin placing its code on Delta`s daily Atlanta to
Guatemala City, Guatemala flight starting Feb. 7, 2004. Northwest
customers will be able to purchase seats under the Northwest code on the
Delta-operated service.

Delta is placing its code on Continental flights to Antigua, Antigua;
Aguadilla, Puerto Rico; Puerto Plata, Santo Domingo and Santiago,
Dominican Republic; Saint Thomas, U.S. Virgin Islands; Saint Maarten,
Netherlands Antilles; and Halifax, Ottawa and Quebec City, Canada.

Delta Crown Room Club members entering any of the Continental Presidents
Clubs and Northwest WorldClubs lounges will need to present their same-day
ticket or boarding pass on the carrier whose lounge is being accessed,
their club membership card and government issued identification at the
front desk. The same provisions apply to Continental and Northwest lounge
members entering a Delta Crown Room Club. Presidents Club and WorldClubs
members will continue to have full access to each other`s club facilities
without restriction. Admission to any of the lounges is valid for up to
two guests or a spouse, and children under 21 years of age.

Continental, Delta and Northwest customers enjoy joint frequent flyer
accrual and redemptions, as well as being able to purchase seats on
codeshare flights offered by the three carriers.

While Continental, Delta and Northwest continue to operate independently
and compete vigorously with each other for customers, the alliance enables
each carrier to serve a greater number of customers and preserves service
to small communities and those communities` access to broad route networks.
