Hyatt Announces Executive Appointment


Mr. Bernd Chorengel, president of Hyatt International Corporation, is pleased to announce the following executieve announcements.
Richard Greaves has been appointed general manager of Grand Hyatt Erawan Bangkok, effective January 6, 2003. Greaves, a graduate of the University of Surrey, UK, strengthened his studies with work experience at Hyatt Carlton Tower in London. He joined the pre-opening support team of the Hyatt Regency Cologne in 1988, and following further assignments in food and beverage in Macau and Bangkok, he was appointed E.A.M. - food and beverage at Grand Hyatt Hong Kong in 1996. Greaves was promoted to his present position, resident manager of Grand Hyatt Taipei, in 2000. He replaces Pierre Bonard who retires at the end of January 2003 and returns to Switzerland after a very distinguished career with Hyatt which spanned 30 years.


Adam Myott has been named general manager of Hyatt Regency Kinabalu. A graduate of Adelaide University, Myott gained management experience with Ritz Carlton and The Regent in Sydney. He joined the team of Park Hyatt Sydney in 1994 as assistant manager - front office. In 1995, Myott transferred to Hyatt Regency Coolum as front office manager where he was subsequently promoted to director of rooms in 1997. Following an assignment as director of rooms at Hyatt Regency Adelaide, he was promoted to his present position of E.A.M. - rooms in Adelaide in 2001. Myott replaces Warren Tam who has been appointed resident manager of Grand Hyatt Taipei.
