The international cast and crew of the new entertainment spectacular - A NEW DAY… - have arrived in Las Vegas for rehearsals on stage at The Colosseum at Caesars Palace, Las Vegas. The team has come home to its brand-new, recently completed venue last week after 4 months of intensive workshops in La Louvière, Belgium.

Premiering on March 25, 2003, A New Day… features sixty international dancers, musicians and artists chosen from thousands through auditions held in Montreal, London, Paris, Amsterdam, New York, Las Vegas, Los Angeles, Chicago and La Louvière, Belgium in June. With a world-renowned collective resume, cast members herald from Julliard, the Los Angeles Contemporary Ballet, the Broadway Dance Center in New York, the School of American Ballet, the Dance Theater of Harlem, the London Ballet, the National Ballet School of Canada and the Royal Winnipeg Ballet.

Joining the cast this week in Las Vegas is an equally impressive creative team led by Franco Dragone, director of the enormously successful Alegr’a, Quidam, Mystère and “O” shows by Cirque du Soleil. The exceptional team of DRAGONE creators includes Yves Aucoin, Lighting Designer; Pavel Brun, Associate Director; Michel Crête, Set Designer and Projection Content Designer; Dirk Decloedt, Projection Content Designer; Claude (Mégo) Lemay, Musical Director; Dominique Lemieux, Costume Designer; Mia Michaels, Choreographer; and Denis Savage, Sound Designer.
